CaffreYoga: Elevate, Lead, Inspire 20-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training

Now more than ever, we need variety in our yoga practice. True health and wellness require both stillness and movement—a balance of action and rest. Yin is in! While power vinyasa builds strength and stamina, yin yoga enhances flexibility, mobility, and deep release.

This training is designed for 200-hour yoga teachers looking to expand their skill set and broaden their teaching opportunities. For studio owners, it’s an opportunity to diversify class offerings and provide students with a more well-rounded yoga experience.

Elevate, Lead, Inspire

Now more than ever, we need variety in our yoga practice. True health and wellness require both stillness and movement—a balance of action and rest. Yin is in! While power vinyasa builds strength and stamina, yin yoga enhances flexibility, mobility, and deep release.

This training is designed for 200-hour yoga teachers looking to expand their skill set and broaden their teaching opportunities. For studio owners, it’s an opportunity to diversify class offerings and provide students with a more well-rounded yoga experience.

In this training, students are invited to learn the techniques of yin yoga in a way that will allow them to share this practice with others. They will be guided through the theory behind yin yoga, illustrating the physiological, energetic, and psychological benefits. There will also be a deep dive into the practice, learning how to safely do yin yoga as well as teach it to others.

Students will learn a unique way to deepen their overall practice and address tissues rarely worked in more active yang styles of yoga like power vinyasa. Plus, this training provides:

  • The deep philosophy and practice of yin yoga
  • An exploration of the similarities between Eastern models of mind/body/energy principles and Western scientific models
  • An understanding of the difference between yin and yang styles of yoga
  • Information about physiology and anatomy—from the bones outward including the limits to movement and the significance of skeletal variation
  • Insight into energy including prana, qi (chi) and the meridians
  • Detailed instructions for practicing and teaching yin yoga asanas
  • Discussions on the best practices for teaching yin yoga and how to modify the practice for students’ unique bodies and/or specific conditions
